June 28-29, the Royal Garden Hotel in London will be hosting the first Multi-Platform Gambling Forum. Since the addition of online gambling and wireless gambling to more traditional forms of gambling, the gaming industry has diversified so much that key players in all forms of gambling have come together in a conference on elements that interest anyone in the gambling industry.
The key subjects to be explored are convergence of online, interactive TV, and mobile gaming, where the industry is headed, tournaments, and cross-platform games.
The conference will explore subjects of advertising for cross-platform gaming systems, and maintaining a computerized back-office system. One of the sessions will be devoted to the role of skill games in online gambling, while another will discuss the issues involved in turning a real-life game into a computer or mobile game.
Speakers will include representatives from FUN Technologies, Gala, Orange, and Chartwell Games. Also on the agenda are what the organizers call “networking drinks” to help attendees get to know each other and hopefully develop cooperative ventures.
