Pitt and Clooney decided to open a hotel and a casino in Las Vegas
Brad Pitt and George Clooney decided to open a hotel and a casino in Las Vegas. The two actors became good friends during the shootings for "Ocean's Eleven" and "Ocean's Twelve".
They signed a contract with Cindy Crawford's husband, nightclub and hotel owner Rande Gerber, and the project is set to get underway in January 2006. It is reported that Brad will design the hotel, which will be situated on Las Vegas' famous Strip.
A source told America's New York Post newspaper: "George and Brad are not putting in any money, but they will be getting a percentage of the profits.
Brad will design the hotel and be the face of it with George. After 'Ocean's Eleven,' this makes perfect sense and the three of them are very good friends."
Brad declared in an interview last year that he has always been fond of architecture and design.
"I'm really into architecture, structure and design. Give me anything and I'll design it.. I'm a bit nutty with it", said the actor.
"I've got a few men I respect very much and one would be architect Frank Gehry. He said to me, 'If you know where it's going, it's not worth doing'. That's become like a mantra for me", Brad added.
